Connecting More Deeply

An ongoing group exploring how we connect more deeply to ourselves, each other and the natural world.

Meeting fortnightly during term times, this is a place to practice connection to self, through meditation, nature therapy and reflection; to each other through sharing and feedback; and to the wider world through our stories and through nature connection practices.

We meet 10.00-12.30 on Wednesday mornings. North London

Cost £340 per term.

There is a maximum of 6 participants and new members are welcome to join at the start of a term with a minimum 2 term commitment, preferably a view to staying part of this supportive community for the long term.

Forest Bathing

Mindful time in nature, to calm your mind, relax your body and nourish your soul.

Combining the centering practices of mindful presence and meditation with the soothing and health-enhancing effects of time in nature, forest bathing is a powerful and effective antidote to stress, anxiety and overwhelm.

Even in a bustling city, when we slow down and bring our careful attention to nature, we are rewarded with rich wonders.   The sweet and earthy smell of the damp soil beneath our feet, the soothing song of a nearby robin or the singular beauty of raindrops caught in the exquisitely intricate web of a spider.  We start to appreciate the precious beauty of what is here in this place, in this moment.

Seasonal Self

Aligning with the seasons for wellbeing

These much-loved workshops offer a unique experience to pause and reflect, to learn the lessons of this season and to discover how you can thrive at this time of year.  For many, this much-loved workshop is anchored in the diary each season, an eagerly anticipated time for calm, reflection, support and self-care. 

Providing a mini-retreat with time carved out of the busy schedule to explore what is happening in the natural world around you and in your own internal world.  An artful blend of meditation, discussion and nature-therapy the Seasonal Self provides profound and lasting insights as well as concrete steps for seasonal self-care.

Nature constantly changes and adapts to her surrounding conditions, gently accepting and embracing the cycle of birth, death and rebirth. The cycle is essential for nature’s health, vitality and continued growth and while we know these seasons in nature, we rarely acknowledge that our own bodies reverberate to seasonal changes as well.

Nature represents stillness and simplicity in winter, growing energy and creativity in spring, blooming fullness during the summer months and a process of harvesting, releasing and slowing down in the autumn. 

.These workshops have also been offered to corporate customers to support the wellbeing of their staff.
